Chrisean Rock has taken to social media to address the lawsuit filed against her, expressing disdain for the individual’s decision to involve lawyers.
Over the weekend, the 23-year-old artist tweeted a scathing message, seemingly directed at the unnamed individual pursuing legal action against her.
“Dis big back bitch n***a think he finna get a cent out of me bitch you know you just wasted yo money on dat damn lawyer right,” the tweet read.
While Rock did not explicitly mention the individual by name, the timing of her tweet aligns with her current legal battle with background singer James Wright.
Wright has filed a lawsuit against Rock, alleging that she assaulted him during Tamar Braxton’s Love & War 10th Anniversary concert in Los Angeles last November.
The lawsuit accuses Rock of using homophobic slurs and causing multiple facial lacerations and broken teeth to Wright.
Rock had previously taken a hiatus from social media following the public revelation of Wright’s lawsuit.
However, her recent tweet marks her return to the platform, where she vented frustration towards the legal proceedings while expressing a renewed focus on her upcoming music projects.
“Yeah I took break from the socials because I’m putting my energy into my next projects fr and all dat negativity shit be not even my Bob right now my next move gon be my best move,” Rock stated in her tweet.
The altercation between Rock and Wright reportedly occurred backstage after Rock’s performance at Braxton’s concert.
Although invited as a special guest to perform by Braxton herself, scheduling conflicts led to Rock’s abbreviated performance and subsequent removal from the stage.
