ScHoolboy Q is gearing up to hit the road this summer for his highly anticipated Blue Lips Weekend tour, aimed at promoting his latest album, Blue Lips.
The announcement was made by ScHoolboy Q and Top Dawg Entertainment on Wednesday through various social media platforms.
The tour is set to kick off in Toronto on July 18 and will traverse major cities including Chicago, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Brooklyn, and more, concluding in Seattle on August 11. Tickets for the tour are scheduled to go on sale starting Friday, April 26.
In an initial tweet, ScHoolboy Q hinted at the possibility of extending the tour beyond the announced dates, stating, “MigHt add more weekends,” in a subsequent post.
Blue Lips, the rapper’s sixth studio album, was released on March 1 to critical acclaim, debuting impressively at No. 13 on the Billboard 200 chart.
The album boasts a stellar lineup of guest appearances including Ab-Soul, Freddie Gibbs, Rico Nasty, and more.
Just two days after its release, ScHoolboy Q himself ranked Blue Lips as his favorite album among his entire discography, further heightening anticipation for the upcoming tour.
