Sexyy Red has announced her plans to attend a WWE NXT event next week, hinting at the possibility of stepping into the ring to perform Randy Orton’s iconic RKO move.
Taking to social media platform X on Monday, Sexyy Red shared her enthusiasm with her fans: “I can’t wait to go to NXT next week yall I might RKO somebody @WWE #nxt,” she tweeted.
This isn’t the first time Big Sexy has showcased her love for WWE. Last year, she posted a remix of her hit song “SkeeYee” with WWE superstar Jey Uso’s entrance, where he energizes the crowd with his signature arm-waving motion. “I wanna see this happen Fr @WWE when yal gonna invite me?” she tweeted at the time.
In March, she went viral for a post where she was seen smoking a blunt and dancing to Shawn Michaels’ classic theme song “Sexy Boy.”
Sexyy Red’s potential involvement in WWE could signal a new wave of hip-hop artists engaging with professional wrestling. Over the years, various rappers have made notable appearances in WWE events. Snoop Dogg co-hosted WrestleMania 39, and Meek Mill delivered an intro promo for WrestleMania 40 in his hometown of Philadelphia.
WWE NXT’s vice president of talent development creative, Shawn Michaels, has also shown interest in blending the worlds of hip-hop and wrestling. Earlier this month, he invited rap superstars Drake and Kendrick Lamar to settle their feud in the WWE ring, even offering to mediate the showdown. “A little Sweet Chin Music goes a long way,” Michaels tweeted. “@kendricklamar, you and @Drake are formally invited to #WWENXT to settle this thing. I’m even offering my services to mediate.”
