Machine Gun Kelly took to Instagram on Thursday to share a heartfelt tribute to his fiancée Megan Fox and their lost pregnancy.
In a short video posted on the platform, the Cleveland artist can be seen skillfully carving a block of wood into the shape of a ship. Alongside the clip, MGK wrote: “My first wood carving. For a special soul that will be found again.”
The post is a poignant nod to Fox’s miscarriage, which she first revealed in November through her poetry book, “Pretty Boys Are Poisonous.”
In her verses, Fox expressed her longing to hold her unborn child’s hand and hear their laughter, juxtaposed with the heartbreak of saying goodbye.
During an interview on Good Morning America, Fox opened up further about the emotional toll of the miscarriage, describing it as an unprecedented experience for both her and MGK. She emphasized the challenges they faced as a couple, navigating through grief together and apart, and trying to find meaning in the loss.
Machine Gun Kelly also addressed the miscarriage in his music, referencing it in his track “Don’t Let Me Go,” released in February. In the song, he rapped about the pain of not being able to touch Fox’s stomach during the pregnancy loss, highlighting the profound impact it had on their relationship.
