Isabella Strahan, daughter of TV personality and former NFL star Michael Strahan, is embracing the college life at the University of Southern California after an incredibly challenging year. Following her final round of chemotherapy for medulloblastoma—a malignant brain tumor—in June, the 19-year-old is back at USC and showing the world how she’s living her best life.
On September 7, Isabella shared a fun TikTok video featuring her and a friend decked out in USC gear, dancing to a slowed-down version of Addison Rae’s latest single, “Diet Pepsi.” With her infectious smile and heart-shaped hand gestures, she and her friend lit up the screen, giving fans a glimpse of her joy and her stylish USC-colored Air Jordans.
Isabella, who bravely documented her cancer journey on social media, was met with an outpouring of love from her fans, with one person commenting, “Absolutely Beautiful Young Ladies,” while another wrote, “YESSSS BABEEE LOVE TO SEE ITTTTT.”
Her upbeat TikTok is just one of the many ways Isabella has been celebrating life recently. On August 7, she shared another snapshot of her “simple” life, which included a heartfelt, handwritten note that read, “Believe that things will get better. No matter what, keep going! F–k cancer!”
The celebration is well-deserved. In July, Isabella announced she was officially cancer-free after a positive MRI, following four rounds of chemotherapy. “It was a great, great scan,” she said in a YouTube video documenting her journey. “Everything was clear. Cancer-free. And everything is great.”
Though Isabella was thrilled with the news, she admitted feeling a bit bittersweet about not seeing her medical team until her next appointment in October. “I miss my doctors already and everyone who’s helped,” she shared. “They’re all so nice. I feel like I’m just saddened today knowing that I wasn’t gonna be going back for a while ’cause I love them so much.”
Throughout her battle, Isabella has had unwavering support from her family, including her dad Michael Strahan, her mother Jean Muggli, and her twin sister Sophia Strahan. Michael, in particular, took to Instagram in June to praise his daughter’s strength and resilience after her final chemo treatment.
“@isabellastrahan you are a SUPERWOMAN,” the Good Morning America anchor wrote. “Ringing that bell finishing chemo and on your way. You continue to fight with a smile on your face, strength, and determination. I am one proud Dad! Love you, Bella.”
Now back at USC, Isabella is enjoying her college experience to the fullest, and fans are cheering her on as she continues to shine post-cancer.
