Jamie Foxx proudly walked his daughter, Corinne Foxx, down the aisle at her wedding to Joe Hooten on September 21. The 56-year-old Oscar winner and his 30-year-old daughter were all smiles during the ceremony, as seen in photos shared by The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Garcelle Beauvais, a longtime friend and co-star of Jamie’s from The Jamie Foxx Show.
The bride, who co-hosts Beat Shazam with her father, looked stunning in an ivory, floral, off-the-shoulder bridal gown with an asymmetrical design. She completed her look with a cathedral-length veil and carried a bouquet of white roses. Joe and Jamie both looked dapper in classic black tuxedos for the occasion.
Garcelle also shared heartwarming moments from the event, including Corinne and Joe exchanging vows and Jamie sharing a father-daughter dance with his eldest child at the reception. “Last night we got to witness & celebrate the love of @corinnefoxx and @joe.hooten,” Garcelle captioned her post. “Corinne, you looked stunning.”
Corinne and Joe, a producer, first met during their time at the University of Southern California and reconnected after graduation. Their romance led to a five-year relationship, culminating in Joe’s proposal last December. Corinne revealed their engagement on social media, showcasing a stunning emerald-cut diamond ring. Jamie, who was present at the post-proposal party, expressed his joy for the couple.
“You are a perfect example of what being in love is,” Jamie wrote on Instagram. “You care about each other’s life, mental and physical… and you have each other’s back.” He also shared that Joe had given him a heads-up about his proposal plan, which brought tears of joy to his eyes.
Jamie, who is also father to 15-year-old daughter Anelise Bishop, expressed his love and pride for Corinne on her special day, writing, “You deserve love abundantly… can’t wait to walk you down that aisle.”
