Ozzy Osbourne is still rocking with his fans as he continues to navigate his ongoing health struggles. The legendary Black Sabbath singer made a rare public appearance on October 12 for an autograph signing near Los Angeles, showcasing his unwavering spirit.
Dressed in a black T-shirt, layered chain necklaces, and his signature round glasses, the 75-year-old attended the Son of Monsterpalooza event in Burbank, California, alongside his wife Sharon Osbourne, 72, and their children Kelly Osbourne, 39, and Jack Osbourne, 38.
Their presence at the pre-Halloween convention highlighted the family’s strong support for Ozzy.
Jack shared his excitement on Instagram, posting, “Thanks so much to everyone that came to @monsterpaloozaofficial this weekend!! Loved meeting and getting to hang out with you all.”
In the lead-up to the event, Jack also helped Ozzy prepare for the spooky gathering, posting a video on October 4 of his father using an exercise band to stretch his arm muscles.
“We are in full training mode,” he wrote.
Ozzy has faced multiple health battles in recent years, including a diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease in 2020 and major spinal surgery in 2022.
The following year, he announced his retirement from touring, revealing that the decision was challenging but necessary, as he felt he was no longer “physically capable” of performing.
In a February 2023 statement, he reflected on a severe accident that damaged his spine four years prior and expressed his determination to return to the stage.
“My singing voice is fine,” he said, but after three surgeries, stem cell treatments, and extensive physical therapy, he acknowledged that his body remained physically weak.
In a candid moment, he admitted, “Believe me when I say that the thought of disappointing my fans really F—KS ME UP, more than you will ever know.”
He underwent his final neck surgery later that year and declared on The Osbournes Podcast in September, “Regardless of the way it ends up after tomorrow, I’m not doing it anymore. I can’t.”
Throughout this challenging journey, Sharon has been a steadfast support for Ozzy.
She openly discussed the emotional toll of caring for someone with Parkinson’s disease in the 2022 ITV documentary Paxman: Putting Up With Parkinson’s.
“Suddenly, your life just stops—life as you knew it,” she shared, expressing her heartbreak over Ozzy’s condition.
Despite the difficulties, she remains grateful for the quality time the family has spent together, saying, “The family, we spend so much more time together.”
