Los Angeles is set to host a major benefit concert to aid recovery efforts following two of the most devastating wildfires in the city’s history.
The FireAid benefit show will feature over 20 renowned artists from various genres, performing across two iconic venues simultaneously.
Among the big names taking the stage are Sting, P!nk, Lil Baby, Rod Stewart, Lady Gaga, and Earth, Wind & Fire.
The lineup also includes several artists with deep roots in LA, such as Billie Eilish, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and No Doubt.
Proceeds from the concert, along with donations collected during the event, will go toward rebuilding communities and enhancing fire prevention efforts in the region.
The devastating fires, which broke out in early January, claimed at least 28 lives and destroyed over 16,000 homes and businesses.
The performances will take place at the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome on Thursday evening, with staggered start times to allow fans to experience a seamless flow of music.
Each artist is expected to perform two to four songs, and their sets will be broadcast on large screens at both venues.
At Intuit Dome, the lineup includes Billie Eilish, Gracie Abrams, Jelly Roll, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Baby, Olivia Rodrigo, Peso Pluma, Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder, Sting, Tate McRae, and Earth, Wind & Fire.
At the Kia Forum, performers include Alanis Morissette, Anderson .Paak, Dawes, Graham Nash, Green Day, John Fogerty, Joni Mitchell, No Doubt, P!nk, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stephen Stills, Stevie Nicks, the Black Crowes, and John Mayer.
Dave Matthews was originally scheduled to perform but had to withdraw due to a family emergency.
Organizers have ensured the event will honor fire victims, first responders, and affected communities, with special guest appearances throughout the night.
Donations can be made via text or at FireAidLA.org, with funds managed by the Annenberg Foundation to support both short-term relief and long-term fire prevention initiatives.
Adding to the generosity, LA Clippers owners Connie and Steve Ballmer—who also own the Intuit Dome and Kia Forum—have pledged to match all donations made during the concert broadcast.
The Palisades and Eaton fires, which erupted on January 7, became the largest wildfires ever recorded in the Los Angeles area.
Fueled by powerful winds, embers spread rapidly, igniting entire communities and leveling thousands of structures.
Nearly 7,000 structures were destroyed in the Palisades Fire in northwest LA, while the Eaton Fire in the Altadena area of Los Angeles County destroyed over 9,400 structures.
With entire neighborhoods wiped out and countless lives disrupted, FireAid LA stands as a powerful testament to the resilience of the community and the unwavering support of artists rallying for the cause.
