“My Turn” is the second studio album by the acclaimed American rapper Lil Baby. Released on February 28, 2020, this album showcases Lil Baby’s exceptional talent and features a star-studded lineup of guest appearances, including Gunna, 42 Dugg, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Moneybagg Yo, Young Thug, and Rylo Rodriguez. The album boasts an impressive production team, with contributions from renowned record producers such as Tay Keith, Quay Global, Section 8, Twysted Genius, Hit-Boy, DJ Paul, Murda Beatz, and Wheezy, among others. “My Turn” gained significant attention, supported by five hit singles: “Woah,” “Sum 2 Prove,” “Emotionally Scarred,” “All In,” and “The Bigger Picture.” Notably, “The Bigger Picture” received two Grammy nominations at the 2021 Grammy Awards.

The album’s excellence was recognized with a quadruple platinum certification in February 2022. The album’s journey began with an initial plan to release it by the end of 2019, as Lil Baby disclosed in October 2019. However, due to unforeseen delays, the release was postponed until January 2020. Lil Baby’s Instagram Live session served as a platform to reveal the album’s title and its significance: “I called it My Turn ’cause I feel like everybody else had a lil’ turn. It’s my turn now. Everybody dropped their mixtapes, their albums – go number 1, number 2, number 3.”
