Alexander “AE” Edwards yesterday said that everything is “all good” between him, Travis Scott, and Southside following their altercation at a Cannes Film Festival afterparty last week. AE, although initially hesitant to discuss the incident, eventually shared his perspective on the altercation.
“Shoutout Southside, that’s my n***a, I know he was just defending his boy [Travis] and doing what he was supposed to be doing. That’s his boy,” Edwards stated. “I don’t got no hard feelings. It is what it is, it went how it went. That’s it.”
While AE refrained from delving into the details of what caused the altercation, he emphasized his commitment to protecting himself and his people.
When asked if he had spoken to Travis since the incident, he indicated that he had not and suggested that Travis and his team had received the message.
“It’s a healthy fade,” AE concluded, hinting at a resolution to the situation.
However, TMZ reports that witnesses have described AE as the instigator in the altercation, though AE did not address this aspect directly.
In an interesting turn of events, AE referenced a lyric from Future’s “GTA” when asked about his girlfriend Cher’s reaction to the incident, stating: “Whatever I’m with, my bitch with it too.” It’s worth noting that “GTA” was playing when the altercation occurred, adding a layer of context to AE’s response.
