Ariana Grande has officially bid farewell to The Voice, revealing she has no plans to return as a coach.
The pop star, who joined the competition for its 21st season in 2021, shared the heartfelt reason behind her decision during a recent interview on the Las Culturistas podcast.
“I got so emotionally attached to everyone,” Ariana admitted.
“That’s my problem.” The 31-year-old explained that her deep care for the contestants made the experience bittersweet.
“I love meeting people, and I felt so invested,” she said, adding that she still keeps up with many of her former team members on Instagram.
While her busy schedule has made it hard to stay in close contact, Ariana remains supportive from afar.
She shared her excitement about Bella DeNapoli welcoming a baby and Sasha Allen releasing solo music, proving her bond with the contestants endures.
Reflecting on her time on The Voice, Ariana described the spinning red chair as a “fun perk” and praised her fellow coaches, Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend, for their expertise.
“You think it’s going to be easy, but it’s so hard,” she said. Despite the challenges, Ariana found the experience rewarding and educational.
Though her chapter on The Voice has closed, Ariana continues to cheer for her former contestants, showing her enduring passion for nurturing talent.
