Born on 5 May 1988 in London’s Tottenham district to an English mother, Penny Adkins, and a Welsh father, Marc Evans, Adele faced challenges early in life when her father left when she was just 2 years old. Raised by her mother, Adele discovered her passion for singing at the tender age of 4 and developed an obsession with voices. Over the years, she moved to various parts of London, and her experiences in West Norwood and Brockwell Park significantly influenced her music. Adele graduated from the BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology in Croydon in May 2006, where she shared a class with fellow artists Leona Lewis and Jessie J. Though initially interested in launching other people’s careers in the music industry, Adele’s exceptional talent as a performer became evident and led her to the extraordinary success she enjoys today.
