Khalid is signed to Right Hand Music Group and RCA Records, and his journey to stardom began with the release of his debut studio album, “American Teen,” in 2017. Khalid Robinson’s early life was marked by his nomadic upbringing, as his mother, Linda Wolfe, and her father’s military careers led them to live in various locations. These included Fort Stewart in Georgia, Fort Campbell in Kentucky, Fort Drum in Watertown, New York, and six years in Heidelberg, Germany. Wolfe worked as a supply technician and served in the Army corps. During his high school years, Khalid developed a passion for singing and musical theater. He initially attended Carthage Central High School in Carthage, New York, before relocating with his mother to El Paso, Texas, where he attended Americas High School for his senior year.
