Blueface, the renowned rapper, is currently entangled in a legal battle as Jackilyn Martinez, the mother of Soulja Boy’s child, filed a defamation lawsuit against him.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Martinez initiated the lawsuit on Friday, alleging that Blueface made false statements about their alleged encounter and also made defamatory remarks concerning her child.
The dispute began when Blueface engaged in a public exchange regarding a potential Verzuz matchup with Soulja Boy earlier in the week. Blueface asserted his perceived victory and claimed, “Because I messed with your baby mama the day before your baby shower.”

In Martinez’s lawsuit, she highlighted Blueface’s additional statements, including, “Till Soulja gets a DNA test, that’s my child lil bro, I’m the daddy now,” and “What’s old about your baby mama sucking my [expletive].”
While the authenticity of these statements remains unclear, Martinez’s lawsuit acknowledged having consensual, protected relations with Blueface in 2018. Her legal representatives issued a cease and desist letter to Blueface, urging him to remove the comments from social media. In response, Blueface took to Instagram, stating, “Nobody ever said your name … I don’t even know who you are.”
The legal battle has taken a toll on Martinez, who claimed to have received death threats since her attorneys sent the cease and desist letter to Blueface on Tuesday.
