Africa’s leading music streaming platform, Boomplay, and trusted smart life brand, itel, have kicked off the year with an electrifying collaboration aimed at showcasing the dynamic synergy between technology and music.
The joint venture brings forth an exciting activation campaign and music festival, titled “Power Up Your Life,” which is set to captivate audiences across selected tertiary campuses in Africa.

The Kenya edition of the Boomplay and itel P55 Series launch and music festival commenced on Monday, February 19th, and will run until Friday, February 23rd, 2024.
The activation events are being held at prominent tertiary institutions such as Kenyatta University (KU) and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).
The highlight of the event series is the grand music concert, featuring a lineup of popular artists including Buruklyn Boyz, Femi One, Buotross, Ssaru, V-Be, Bahati, DJ Lyta, MC Togzik, and more.
The concert promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for attendees, with thrilling performances and engaging activities.
Central to the activation campaign is the launch of itel’s new P55 Series Phone and E1 Smartwatch. The itel P55+ smartphone, boasting 45W fast charging capability, long-lasting battery life, and enhanced entertainment features, is positioned as an ideal choice for students and music enthusiasts alike.
