Cardi B has offered insight into the inspiration behind her latest hit single, “Enough (Miami),” revealing that it stemmed from feeling targeted by rivals.
The Grammy-winning artist shared details about the track during an Instagram Live session on Thursday (March 14), just ahead of its release on March 15.
Cardi B disclosed that the song was initially titled “Cardi K.”
Explaining the origin of the name, she likened it to the phrase “Everybody Killa,” expressing her frustration with those she perceived as adversaries.
Cardi B emphasized that although she initially entered the studio in a state of anger, her current mindset is different.
She clarified that she no longer harbors negative feelings towards anyone. Ultimately, the track’s name was changed to “Enough (Miami)” to reflect a broader theme.
“Enough (Miami)” features a captivating blend of menacing synths and trap-inspired drums, providing Cardi B with a platform to deliver her signature ferocious bars.
