Charli XCX has been announced as a headline act for Greater Manchester’s Parklife Festival, set to take place at Heaton Park on June 14-15, 2025.
The two-day music extravaganza is expected to draw over 80,000 fans, with Charli joining an exciting roster of performers, including Confidence Man, DJ Heartstring, Salute presents True Vision, and Interplanetary Criminal.
The complete line-up will be revealed in January, building anticipation for one of the UK’s largest urban music festivals.
This announcement follows a monumental year for Charli XCX. Her sixth studio album, Brat, released in June 2024, received critical acclaim and sparked a cultural movement.
A remix version of the album topped the UK charts in October, cementing its impact on pop music.
Brat’s distinctive minimalist album cover—featuring the title in low-resolution Arial font on a neon green background—ignited a wave of memes and inspired the “brat summer” trend.
Fans embraced the concept as a playful rejection of the hyper-polished “clean girl” aesthetic popularized on TikTok.
The album’s cultural resonance even extended to language, with “brat” being named Collins Dictionary’s Word of the Year.
Parklife 2025 promises an electrifying celebration of music, style, and individuality, with Charli XCX set to bring her dynamic stage presence and boundary-pushing hits to the Manchester crowd.
