Davido is taking his career to new heights with a groundbreaking collaboration with Steve Stoute’s UnitedMasters.
Following his triumphant performance at Madison Square Garden on April 17, Davido unveiled a significant deal with UnitedMasters, a renowned music distributor and licensing platform catering to independent artists.
This partnership marks the launch of Davido’s Nine+ Records label, signaling his ambition to spotlight emerging talent from around the world.
In a statement released to the press, Davido expressed his pride in joining forces with Steve Stoute and the UnitedMasters team.
“This announcement represents an exciting new chapter for developing and established artists around the world,” he remarked, underscoring his commitment to fostering musical talent on a global scale.
As part of the agreement, Davido will spearhead Nine+ Records’ A&R division and contribute to “behind-the-scenes curation.”
Leveraging his extensive experience and influence in the music industry, the three-time Grammy nominee will collaborate closely with UnitedMasters to mentor emerging artists across diverse genres, ranging from hip-hop and R&B to country, and of course, Afrobeats.
