Fresh off his highly publicized rap feud with Kendrick Lamar, Drake has made headlines once again, this time for adding a luxurious property to his real estate portfolio.
In October, the Toronto rapper made a substantial investment, purchasing The Inn at Dos Brisas, a sprawling 313-acre ranch located in Brenham, a quaint town situated approximately two hours south of Dallas. The acquisition came with a hefty price tag of $15 million.
Reported by Texas Monthly, the ranch boasts a lavish 14,300-square-foot main house, complemented by several haciendas and casitas.
Among its impressive amenities are a wine cellar stocked with a staggering 7,000 bottles, a shooting range, multiple basketball and tennis courts, a stable, a riding ring, and picturesque herds of horses.
Listing agent Tonya Currie expressed the unique allure of Dos Brisas, describing it as a “rare legacy ranch property” that presented a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the right buyer. She explained that the property garnered significant interest once it was listed, with the sale ultimately aligning with prevailing market conditions.
Drake publicly announced his acquisition of the ranch last September, taking to Instagram to share a video of himself exploring the expansive property.
“Me and my partner, we done gone country on y’all,” Drake exclaimed in a playful country accent during the video. “We said we was gonna do it for a lot of years and we’re doing it today. The sale is made. We gotta drop a new one for this. If you see your girl at the ‘Lover Boy Lake’, it’s over.”
