Eight-year-old Caleb from Earlsdon has made his television debut in the CBeebies program I Can Do It, You Can Too, a show where children teach each other new skills.
In his episode, squash enthusiast Zoya introduced Caleb to the fast-paced sport, marking his first time picking up a squash racquet.
To celebrate his debut, Caleb’s family hosted a special viewing party complete with a red carpet.
“I feel like a star,” Caleb said, reflecting on the experience.
He described filming as “amazing,” adding that he loved the excitement of seeing cameras everywhere.
The journey began when Caleb’s mother, Faye, came across an online application for the show.
She highlighted his skills and interests, leading to an online interview with the production team.
Before long, Caleb was in front of the cameras, ready to learn and shine.
Faye expressed her pride, saying that seeing her son on TV was a heartwarming moment.
Caleb, who now dreams of appearing on stage in the future, is set to return for another episode where he will step into the role of coach, teaching his partner how to cross a wobbly bridge.
