Known for her extravagant and creative outfits, which have included everything from a stunning Jessica Rabbit to a whimsical oversized worm, Klum is keeping fans guessing this year.
Hours before the spooky festivities, the 51-year-old supermodel shared a tantalizing Instagram post featuring what appeared to be a giant model of a big toe or thumb, cleverly wrapped by her manicured hand to emphasize its size.
Soon after, she posted a close-up video of a scaly prosthetic being blow-dried, prompting a flurry of speculation among her followers about what her costume could be this time.
Comments ranged from guesses of her dressing as E.T. to nods toward Beauty and the Beast and even King Kong.
One follower humorously suggested she might go as a Thumb Thumb from Spy Kids, sharing a GIF of the film’s faceless henchmen, while another remarked, “Are you going to be a foot? The lines on your face are giving knuckles.”
During an Amazon Live broadcast, Klum offered fans a sneak peek into her preparations, showcasing her glam squad applying beige prosthetic strips to her face and neck.
She revealed that the concept for this year’s costume has been in the works since November 2023 and is something that “has never been done before.”
Adding to the excitement, Klum hinted that this year’s costume will once again be a couples’ theme with her husband, Tom Kaulitz.
She shared a playful video of the Tokio Hotel guitarist in the makeup chair, captioning it, “He is such a good sport.”
