Aristotle Varner Jr., the founder of the Honey Drip Network, recently made startling accusations against rapper GloRilla during an appearance on the radio show, The Morning Hustle.
Varner alleged that the “Wanna Be” rapper, whose real name is not immediately available, absconded with a substantial sum of money from him, totaling six figures, after failing to fulfill contractual obligations.
During the interview, Varner claimed that he had paid GloRilla a significant amount of money, over six figures, to perform certain tasks outlined in their contract.
However, according to Varner, GloRilla failed to complete these tasks, leaving two crucial obligations unfulfilled.
“I paid her some money—over six figures—to do something for me and she didn’t complete the tasks. She’s still got two more tasks to complete, and it’s on contract,” Varner asserted during the interview.
Varner expressed his intention to pursue legal action against GloRilla over the matter, revealing that he has been embroiled in a legal battle since March of the previous year.
The nature of the tasks outlined in the contract was not explicitly disclosed by Varner during the interview.
However, last September, Spade TV shared a court document alleging that GloRilla had been compensated with more than $400,000 to promote Varner on social media platforms.
Additionally, GloRilla was expected to participate in a collaborative Instagram post, conduct a meet-and-greet session, and engage in a 30-minute interview with Varner’s wife, Asia Varner, who is a business coach.
A TikTok video from February depicted GloRilla and Varner recording a promotional segment for a stock lessons class, indicating a previous collaboration between the two parties.
