On October 4, SNL announced the lineup for the first two episodes of its highly anticipated Season 49.

However, her recent performances have been marred by mishaps, including a close call with third-degree burns during a show in Sydney, Australia. While performing her twerk dance, pyrotechnic effects unexpectedly went off, prompting her to exclaim, “Whoa.”
Ice Spice shared the potentially dangerous moment on Instagram, adding a touch of humor to the ordeal.
Addressing the swift trajectory of her career and allegations of being an industry plant, Ice Spice stated in a recent interview with Variety, “A lot of people have thrown that in my face — like ‘Oh, I’ve never seen anything happen so quickly. She needs to be studied,’ or ‘She’s a plant.'”
“I just let people believe whatever they want to believe, to be honest. I don’t really mind all the rumors. At first, I did, but now I’m at a point where I understand that just comes with this lifestyle.”
