In a joyous celebration at their Atlanta home over the weekend, R&B singer Jacquees and his partner Deiondra Sanders shared the exciting news of their baby’s gender with the world.
Posting on Instagram, the 30-year-old singer announced that they are expecting a baby boy, showcasing images from the gender reveal event featuring a dynamic dynamite theme.
The reveal included a makeshift detonator labeled “TNT” and blue smoke enveloping the scene.
Deiondra, 32, provided a glimpse behind the scenes of their preparations in a YouTube video, where she disclosed that Jacquees is taking charge of selecting the baby’s name.
In the video, she mentioned being drawn to one unisex name suggested by Jacquees, expressing her fondness for it.
Although Deion Sanders, the grandfather-to-be at 56, couldn’t be present physically, he joined the festivities via FaceTime and extended his congratulations to the couple, referring to their impending arrival as their “little engine” on Instagram.
Coach Prime expressed a mix of emotions during an interview with People last month. While acknowledging his pride in his daughter’s decision to wait until her thirties for motherhood, he admitted to not yet fully grasping the idea of becoming a grandfather. Despite his reservations, he emphasized his unwavering support for Deiondra.
Deiondra had announced her pregnancy on Instagram in March, describing it as an unexpected yet divinely ordained blessing despite previous health challenges.
