In the latest episode of Sister Wives, Janelle Brown had a frank conversation with her ex, Kody Brown, about the aftermath of their split.
The two sat down on the November 3 episode, where Janelle made it clear that she wasn’t open to reconciliation, after ending their nearly 30-year spiritual marriage in 2022.
“You complain about my independence, and I will complain about your selfishness and [you being] self-absorbed,” Janelle told Kody bluntly.
When Kody pressed if this was a recent perception, she replied, “No, maybe you always were.”
She also highlighted his estranged relationships with their children, saying, “The kids are all feeling very estranged from you. There’s a lot of nuances, and I can’t be in the middle.”
Despite their differences, Janelle admitted she still feels an attraction toward Kody, though she said their lives are now worlds apart.
“I think you’re awesome,” she acknowledged. “But I’ve been so happy [without you] that I don’t foresee a long-term thing for us.”
She emphasized that Kody hasn’t visited her home in two years, indicating a growing emotional distance.
Kody, who recently entered a monogamous relationship with his remaining wife, Robyn Brown, noted in his confessional that talk of reconciling was likely “a pipe dream.”
He admitted he was motivated by the desire to repair his relationships with his children but expressed concerns over the power dynamics in their past.
While he conceded that giving Janelle more control would be fair, he ultimately said, “I’m not interested in that.”
