Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce recently opened up about how his family’s life has changed since his younger brother, Travis Kelce, began dating pop sensation Taylor Swift.
During an appearance on Shaquille O’Neal’s The Big Podcast With Shaq, Kelce shared insights into the impact of his brother’s high-profile relationship.
Kelce expressed amazement at the opportunities the relationship has brought to his family.
“It’s crazy what it opens up, opportunity-wise,” he said. “It’s crazy to feel how much joy you bring people or how much you affect people’s daily lives.”
However, he also highlighted the drawbacks of dating a megastar like Swift, recounting unexpected incidents at Travis’s new home.
According to Kelce, Travis had to completely move out of his house due to uninvited visitors lingering nearby after news of his relationship with Swift broke. Even in his gated community, Travis faced the intrusion of fans knocking on windows shortly after moving in.
The Kelce family, known for their prominence in the football world, found themselves navigating a whole new level of attention and scrutiny in the pop culture realm. Kelce emphasized that the Taylor Swift fandom introduced a demographic unfamiliar to them before.
Kelce’s recent revelations come after he shared his excitement about meeting music icons Ice Spice and Sir Paul McCartney at the Super Bowl, courtesy of Swift. Kelce and his wife, Kylie, joined Swift in her suite at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, where they were surprised by McCartney’s presence.
