Jennifer Lopez has made the decision to cancel several tour dates for her upcoming This Is Me… Now Tour due to slower-than-expected ticket sales.
Reported by Variety on Thursday (March 14), the Bronx native has scrapped seven tour dates from August 20 to 31, affecting ticket-holders in cities including Cleveland, Nashville, Raleigh, Atlanta, Tampa, New Orleans, and Houston.
Ticket holders for the canceled dates were notified with a simple message stating: “Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event. No action is required to obtain a refund.”
While 30 tour dates still remain on the schedule, the publication highlights that “large numbers” of tickets remain unsold for many of the shows.
Speculation about sales being an issue for the canceled dates persists, although concrete reasons have not been confirmed.

In addition to her tour, Jennifer Lopez has been actively promoting her new album, This Is Me… Now, which was released in February.
Alongside the album, Lopez also released a fictional biopic and a documentary to support the project.
Despite the buzz surrounding the album’s release, HipHopDX’s Will Schube offered a critical take, describing the project as “formulaic.”
He noted that while there are promising ideas on the album, much of the music lacks originality and fails to stand out.
This Is Me… Now marks Lopez’s first album under a new deal with BMG, serving as a follow-up to her 2002 album This Is Me…Then, which featured hit singles like “Jenny From the Block” and “All I Have.”
