Jon Gosselin is taking another step into matrimony. The former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star is engaged to Stephanie Lebo, his girlfriend of three years, Entertainment Tonight reports.
Jon proposed on Nov. 23 at a restaurant in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, presenting Stephanie with a dazzling emerald-cut diamond ring.
The moment was made even more special with all their parents in attendance, including Stephanie’s emotional father, who expressed his happiness for the couple.
Jon and Stephanie first met in 2021 at a mutual friend’s barbecue and began dating shortly after. They kept their relationship under wraps until August 2023.
Reflecting on their connection, Jon noted how trust and compatibility have been pivotal in their relationship, adding that they’ve seamlessly blended their lives with shared friendships and mutual understanding.
Despite Jon’s joy, his family dynamic remains complicated. While he shares eight children with his ex-wife Kate Gosselin, he is estranged from six of them, maintaining close ties only with Hannah and Collin.
Collin, who has also been distant from his mother and siblings, hopes to rebuild relationships with his brothers and sisters.
As for their future together, Jon and Stephanie have no plans to expand their family, focusing instead on enjoying their life together.
This engagement marks a new chapter for Jon, who seems ready to embrace happiness and stability in his personal life.
