Justin Bieber surprised fans with a guest performance at Don Toliver’s concert at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on October 19, marking his first stage appearance since becoming a father.
His wife, Hailey Bieber, captured the moment on her Instagram Stories, showing Justin dancing with his microphone as Toliver performed their 2023 collaboration, “Private Landing,” which also features Future.
The crowd erupted in cheers as Toliver introduced Bieber, saying, “Make some noise for f–king Justin B!” This performance comes just two months after the birth of Justin and Hailey’s first child, Jack Blues Bieber, in August.
Although Justin has kept a low profile since cutting short his Justice world tour in 2022 due to exhaustion and complications from Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, which caused partial facial paralysis, he has made occasional appearances.
His last onstage performance was in July at a pre-wedding celebration for billionaire heir Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in India.
Bieber has not released any new music since 2023, but on October 20, just a day after his surprise performance, he posted pictures of himself in a studio, playing a keyboard and holding a microphone.
This sparked excitement among fans, who began speculating about a potential musical comeback. The post also featured photos of birds and a sweet snapshot of Justin and Hailey sharing a kiss.
Indie singer-songwriter Mk.gee, who has been collaborating with Justin, revealed in a recent interview with The New York Times that Bieber is actively working on new material.
“He’s searching,” Mk.gee said about the “Peaches” singer. “Anything that comes out of his mouth: That’s pop music.”
He hinted that the new direction might offer something fresh and experimental, building anticipation for Bieber’s next musical chapter.
