Kanye West had an interesting take on Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s marriage back in 2022.
On Wednesday, Candace Owens decided to unleash an old interview she did with Ye from two years ago. During the conversation, the Donda rapper brought up the A-list couple.
“I just think Yoncé need to let him go get some pussy, seriously,” he said at around the 35:19 minute mark. of the video below. The comment immediately makes Owens laugh, which in turn makes Ye laugh. “Go to DR or something,” he added.
Just moments before, Yeezy commented on what makes both Drake and Hov so special.
“Drake is the best rapper ever by the numbers. Jay-Z is the greatest rapper ever by the inspiration,” Ye said.
As we all well know. Jay-Z did allegedly cheat on his wife—and Bey made a whole album about it, aka 2016’s Lemonade. The album cut, “Sorry” famously includes the line, “Becky with the good hair,” which was seemingly a reference to her husband’s side piece.
Though the woman’s identity has never been confirmed, rumors of Jay’s infidelity spread like wildfire when security footage showed Solange attacking him in an elevator after the 2014 Met Gala.
It’s unclear what the status of Jay and Kanye’s friendship is. Last December, West doled out a handful of “fuck you’s” in footage taken during a Vultures event in Las Vegas.
