Kanye West has made headlines following his decision to part ways with his longtime chief of staff, Milo Yiannopoulos, due to disagreements over the launch of Yeezy Porn, an adult entertainment venture under West’s Yeezy empire.
The split was reported by TMZ on Wednesday (May 15), with Yiannopoulos expressing well wishes for West’s future endeavors but also voicing concerns about the direction of the company.
In a statement, Yiannopoulos highlighted his reservations regarding the new team associated with Yeezy Porn and urged caution moving forward.
I cannot be complicit in the production or dissemination of pornographic films and literature, for moral and religious reasons,” he wrote at the time.
“But also, because such material and the kind of people invariably involved in its production represent an imminent danger to my life as a recovering addict and an unacceptable risk to my spiritual and physical health as a former homosexual.”
The controversy surrounding Yeezy Porn erupted earlier this month when Yiannopoulos raised objections to the project, citing moral, religious, and personal reasons.
He expressed discomfort with being involved in the production or dissemination of pornographic content, emphasizing its potential negative impact on his spiritual and physical well-being, particularly as a recovering addict and a former homosexual.
