Kylie Jenner is showing that her friendship with Jordyn Woods is as strong as ever, celebrating Jordyn’s 27th birthday with a heartfelt shoutout on Instagram on September 23. After Jordyn shared a glamorous photo of herself in a gold minidress with the caption “Chapter 27,” Kylie, also 27, commented, “hot !! happy birthday!!!!!!!!”
This sweet gesture comes after the two former best friends appeared to have rekindled their relationship following their 2019 fallout, which stemmed from a cheating scandal involving Tristan Thompson, who was then Khloe Kardashian’s boyfriend. The incident, where reports emerged of Tristan kissing Jordyn at a house party, led to Khloe ending her relationship with him and Kylie distancing herself from Jordyn.
Since then, Kylie has taken steps to mend fences with her former bestie, who co-starred alongside her in the 2017 E! series Life of Kylie. The two were spotted together for the first time since the scandal during a dinner outing in Los Angeles in July 2023.
In recent interviews, Kylie shared that while she and Jordyn had taken a step back in their friendship, they never “fully cut each other off.” After another encounter at Paris Fashion Week, Kylie described their dynamic: “It was fun,” she told Khloe. “I think we have a lot more healthy distance in the relationship. Now it’s like, we talk once a month.”
Tristan Thompson, who shares two children with Khloe—True, 6, and Tatum, 2—acknowledged his role in the situation during a recent episode of The Kardashians. He expressed regret, saying, “You guys were two peas in a pod. So, the fact that I put myself and her in a situation that wasn’t right and wasn’t smart made it tough for you and Khloe. Because, at the end of the day, you have your best friend and then you have your sister, who you love more than anything else.”
