Rapper Latto has once again demonstrated her commitment to community and generosity by hosting her third annual Christmas In Clayco event on Saturday.
This year, Latto donated over $500,000 in gifts, making a significant impact on her local community.
The substantial presents were made possible through sponsorships from various companies that Latto has collaborated with, including UGG, Savage x Fenty, Apple, Liquid Death, Wingstop, Wrap Snacks, HALLS, Camille Rose, and more.
The event, organized by Latto’s Win Some Give Some foundation, aims to empower at-risk youth, providing resources and self-esteem support for a lifetime of equal opportunity and success.
District 1 Commissioner Dr. Alieka Anderson expressed gratitude for Latto’s generosity, stating: “Words cannot express how amazing it is to have Latto return to Clayton County to help spread some holiday cheer throughout our community. Her generosity is sincerely appreciated for our children and our community.”
In recognition of Latto’s philanthropic efforts, Monday (December 18) was celebrated as Latto Day. This tradition follows her second annual Christmas giveaway in 2022 when Latto received a key to the city of Rex in Clayton Country and her own day.
Continuing her festive spirit, Latto recently collaborated with Luh Tyler to release “The Grinch Freestyle,” a track and video that playfully compares a grumpy character to the famed Dr. Seuss character.
As Latto approaches her 25th birthday on December 22, she has planned a unique celebration titled “Hoes Up Pimps Down.” The 1970s-themed party, featuring a role reversal of pimp aesthetics, will be hosted by none other than Hip Hop legend Flavor Flav. In a social media promo, Flavor Flav encourages attendees to embrace the era’s style and promises an unforgettable event.
