In addition to Young’s arrest, two other individuals present at the same location were also taken into custody and charged with various offenses unrelated to the concert shooting.
Kevin Young’s arrest is linked to the shooting incident that occurred during Lil Baby’s concert at the FedExForum in Memphis, which resulted in severe injuries to one individual.
The Memphis Police Department responded to reports of the shooting at the arena at 10:23 p.m. that night. Lil Baby was headlining the show as part of his “It’s Only Us Tour,” featuring opening acts GloRilla, Rylo Rodriguez, Gloss Up, and Hunxho.
According to reports, Lil Baby was swiftly evacuated from the stage to safety following the shooting. Video footage of the incident, circulated on social media, shows a chaotic scene unfolding on the side of the stage during Lil Baby’s performance, culminating in the sound of a gunshot.
