Incoming US First Lady Melania Trump will headline a new Amazon Prime Video documentary, slated for release in late 2025.
Serving as an executive producer, Mrs. Trump will reportedly have significant editorial input on the project, which began filming in December 2024.
Amazon has shared limited details so far, describing the documentary as a “truly unique story” and promising more updates as production advances.
Mrs. Trump has not commented on her involvement, but her role as executive producer suggests she will help shape the narrative.
Directed by Brett Ratner, the film has already drawn attention due to his past allegations of sexual misconduct, which he has denied.
The documentary follows the success of Mrs. Trump’s recent autobiography, a New York Times and Amazon bestseller.
Since leaving the White House in 2017, she has kept a relatively low profile, making occasional appearances with her husband.
Reports suggest that she may not reside in the White House during Donald Trump’s second term, fueling speculation about her role as First Lady.
Amazon’s connection to the Trump administration has also grown, with the company donating $1 million to the inauguration fund and streaming the upcoming ceremony on Prime Video.
Founder Jeff Bezos has praised Trump’s political comeback and dined with him at Mar-a-Lago last month.
The documentary offers a rare glimpse into Melania Trump’s life and perspective as she returns to the public eye during a transformative political moment.
