Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, are in the spotlight again, this time for failing to respond to an assault lawsuit, potentially costing them a hefty sum of $500,000.
TMZ recently obtained court documents revealing a default judgment against the couple in the L.A. County Superior Court.
The judgment amount stands at $503,318.02. The lawsuit stems from an incident involving a security guard named Thomas Weidenmuller, who sued Minaj and Petty for $753,000 in 2022 over an alleged assault during a 2019 show on the Nicki World Tour in Frankfurt, Germany.
According to Weidenmuller, a fan breached a security barricade and made it onto the stage during Nicki’s performance.
Although the fan was promptly removed, Nicki and Petty reportedly confronted Weidenmuller and the security team afterward.

The situation escalated, with Nicki allegedly hurling insults at a female security guard and later criticizing her on social media.
Weidenmuller claimed that when he intervened and went to Nicki’s dressing room to address the issue, Petty physically assaulted him by punching him in the face, while Nicki continued to use foul language.
The lawsuit cited charges of battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligence against the couple.
Despite the legal troubles, Nicki and Petty have remained active on social media, engaging with fans and sharing content. In a recent livestream, Petty even rapped some of Nicki’s lyrics, showcasing their bond amid the ongoing legal battle.
