Nicki Minaj has delivered a special birthday gift to her fans by launching her highly anticipated Pink Friday 2 album on her Pink Friday birthday. The album, serving as a sequel to her debut project in 2010, was initially slated for an earlier release this year but faced delays, including complications related to vinyl production.
Minaj, expressing her excitement about the album, described it as “the biggest gift I’ve ever given humanity thus far” and confidently predicted that Pink Friday 2 would captivate listeners immediately. She shared her enthusiasm for collaborating with a lineup of talented artists, including Billie Eilish featured on the intro track “Are You Gone Already,” using a sample of “When the Party’s Over.” Minaj emphasized that the featured artists are individuals she truly loves and who inspire her musically.
The tracklist, comprising 22 songs, boasts a star-studded lineup with contributions from Drake (“Needle”), Lil Wayne (“RNB”), J. Cole (“Let Me Calm Down”), Lil Uzi Vert (“Everybody”), and Future (“Nicki Hendrix”). Other featured artists include Tate Kobang, Lourdiz, Skillibeng, Skeng, gospel artist Tasha Cobbs Leonard, and Minaj’s 3-year-old son, making a brief appearance on the intro.
The extensive list of producers for the 70-minute Pink Friday 2 album includes ATL Jacob, Murda Beatz, Boi-1da, Dr. Luke, BoogzDaBeast, Don Cannon, BNYX, Sadpony, and Tate Kobang for a significant portion of the album.

Prior to the album launch, Nicki Minaj shared singles “Super Freaky Girl” and “Last Time I Saw You.” Additionally, her song “Barbie World” from the Barbie soundtrack, featuring Aqua and Ice Spice, earned two Grammy nominations in November.
