Nicole Kidman stunned in a plunging black gown at the Hollywood premiere of The Perfect Couple, held at The Egyptian Theatre on Wednesday night. The Oscar-winning actress, 57, looked effortlessly youthful as she posed alongside her co-stars, including Meghann Fahy, 34, and Eve Hewson, 33, Bono’s daughter.
Kidman showed off her statuesque 5’11” frame in a custom Ferragamo halter dress, which featured sheer fabric that revealed her undergarments. She completed the look with Paris Texas shoes, all curated by celebrity stylist Jason Bolden. To add a touch of sophistication, she draped a black tuxedo blazer over one shoulder.
Her voluminous blonde hair, styled by Adir Abergel, gave her look extra glamour, while make-up artist Gucci Westman enhanced her flawless, porcelain complexion with perfectly contoured features.
Kidman, who serves as executive producer on The Perfect Couple, also stars as famous novelist Greer Garrison Winbury in the six-episode mystery drama premiering this Thursday on Netflix. The show, based on Elin Hilderbrand’s 2018 novel, follows the story of Amelia Sacks (played by Eve Hewson), who is about to marry into a wealthy Nantucket family until a shocking death turns the wedding into a murder mystery.
“I grew up on [murder mysteries], and I haven’t seen one like this for a while, so it was exciting to be a part of it,” Kidman told Reuters earlier this week. She added that playing the powerful character of Greer was particularly thrilling.
Directed by Susanne Bier, The Perfect Couple brings a fresh spin to the genre, and Kidman expressed her excitement about exploring new experiences on screen.
At the premiere, Kidman was joined by her on-screen husband, Liev Schreiber, who plays Tag Winbury in the series. Schreiber, 56, cut a dashing figure in a black suit paired with a casually unbuttoned white shirt. The two stars share a long history, as Schreiber previously dated Kidman’s close friend, Naomi Watts, for 11 years.
While Kidman was busy at the premiere, her real-life husband, country music star Keith Urban, was performing in Brisbane. The couple, who met in 2005 and married the following year, are proud parents to daughters Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 13.
Kidman also shares two grown children, Isabella, 31, and Connor, 29, from her previous marriage to Tom Cruise.
