Pamela Bach, the former Baywatch star and ex-wife of David Hasselhoff, has passed away at the age of 62.
According to the Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s office, she was found at her Hollywood Hills home on March 5 after dying by suicide.
Bach rose to fame in the 1980s and 1990s, initially meeting Hasselhoff on the set of Knight Rider before they married in 1989.
She later starred alongside him in the hit series Baywatch before their divorce in 2006.
The couple shared two daughters, including Hayley Amber Hasselhoff, who paid tribute by posting a photo of her parents on Instagram with a white star.
“Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff,” David Hasselhoff said in a statement.
“We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”
Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Bach’s acting career spanned several decades, with roles in The Young and the Restless, Cheers, The Fall Guy, T.J. Hooker, Superboy, and Viper.
Her last Instagram post, shared on New Year’s Eve, expressed excitement for 2025 and her joy in watching her granddaughter, London, grow.
“Seeing her smile light up my world is truly the greatest blessing,” she wrote, wishing for a year filled with “beautiful moments, laughter, and all the blessings your hearts can hold.”
Bach’s representative, Sharon Kelly, expressed her shock at the news.
“My heart goes out to her family, her beautiful daughters, and granddaughter, whom Pamela constantly gushed about and loved so dearly,” she said.
