Pharrell Williams has been selected to co-host an exclusive pre-Olympics event at the Foundation Louis Vuitton in Paris.
This event, heralded as the Prelude to the Olympics, is set to take place on July 25, just one day before the grand opening ceremony of the much-anticipated 2024 Summer Olympics.
According to an initial announcement from Vogue, Pharrell will be joined by a distinguished lineup including Bernard Arnault, the CEO of LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton), Brian Roberts, CEO of Comcast, and Anna Wintour, the influential editor-in-chief of Vogue.
This illustrious gathering aims to set the stage for the Olympic festivities in Paris.
Joining Pharrell as co-hosts are luminaries from various fields, adding further glamour and significance to the occasion.
Among them are Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron, tennis legend Serena Williams, Grammy-winning artist Rosalía, and acclaimed actor Omar Sy from the hit series “Lupin.”
The event promises to be more than just a celebration, as it will feature a specially curated collection of art installations personally selected by Pharrell.
Comcast NBCUniversal has also pledged support by making a donation in aid of the IOC Refugee Olympic Team, underscoring the event’s commitment to philanthropy and global unity.
This announcement comes on the heels of recent developments in the fashion world, including Louis Vuitton’s Timberland collaboration and the appointment of Pharrell’s longtime collaborator, Pusha T, as the newest House Ambassador for the French luxury brand.
