Notorious leaker known as “King Bob,” responsible for leaking music by Playboi Carti and other major artists, has been apprehended on charges related to wire fraud and identity theft.
The 19-year-old, identified as Noah Michael Urban, faces a series of serious charges that could potentially lead to a lengthy prison sentence.
Arrested on Thursday (January 11), Urban, also known by aliases such as “Sosa,” “Elijah,” and “Anthony Ramirez,” has been charged with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, eight counts of wire fraud, and five counts of aggravated identity theft.
The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida alleges that Urban stole over $800,000 from five different victims through his illicit activities.
If convicted on all charges, Urban could face a minimum sentence of 170 years in prison.
The wire fraud charges alone carry a potential 20-year sentence per count, totaling 160 years, and an additional two years per charge of aggravated identity theft, amounting to another 10 years.
The charges against Urban include his alleged involvement in fraudulent activities related to cryptocurrency, particularly Bitcoin.
This aspect of the case raises echoes of a previous incident in 2020 when Playboi Carti’s music was leaked, reportedly involving DaBaby’s producer Jetsonmade.

Jetsonmade was previously seen in a video discussing the potential sale of unreleased Carti songs for a significant sum in Bitcoin.
However, he later claimed he was trolling and denied any involvement in the sale of leaked music.
“Bruh, I thought you wanted money? Bro, I’m literally about to pay you money for songs that are never dropping. So, you’ll never get money from them dropping.” Jetsonmade responds, “I’ll call you back in two minutes.” The producer behind DaBaby’s multi-platinum selling hit “Suge” subsequently claimed he was trolling after a video showed him discussing the potential sale of unreleased Carti songs for $17,000 in Bitcoin. “dat video y’all keep posting is CAP,” he wrote on Instagram Stories at the time. “I was definitely trolling.”
With Urban’s arrest, questions have emerged about the possibility of Jetsonmade unwittingly communicating with “King Bob” during the 2020 incident.
None of the artists, including Playboi Carti, Ariana Grande, and Lil Uzi Vert, whose work Urban leaked, have been identified as victims in the financial scams outlined in the charges.
Urban has pleaded not guilty to all charges, and so far, no charges related to the specific leaking of songs have been brought against him.
