Less than two months after his arrest on federal drug charges, rapper Quando Rondo finds himself in legal trouble once again.
The 24-year-old artist has been charged with driving under the influence (DUI) and reckless driving, according to reports from ABC News.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, February 6, in Savannah, Georgia, where authorities detained Rondo. He was released on a $4,600 bond.
These misdemeanor charges add to the rapper’s already complicated legal situation, as he faces multiple felony drug and gang-related charges in the state of Georgia.
Quando Rondo’s attorney, Jonah Pine, revealed that the DUI charges stem from an incident in July 2023 when the rapper was involved in a collision with another vehicle.
At the scene, emergency responders administered a drug typically used to treat opioid overdoses to Rondo. Pine criticized prosecutors for what he described as an attempt to “heap more nonsense onto Quando Rondo.”

The recent DUI charge follows Rondo’s prior arrest related to his alleged involvement with a street gang.
In a 49-count indictment, Rondo was named alongside 18 other individuals, facing charges including conspiracy to violate Georgia’s controlled substances law, participating in criminal activity affiliated with a street gang, and illegal use of a cell phone to facilitate a drug deal.
Additionally, he was accused of violating the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act for his alleged managerial role within the Rollin’ 60’s Crips gang.
Rondo’s legal troubles escalated when he was arrested by the FBI in December and booked into the Chatham County Detention Center on federal drug charges. Despite these challenges, the rapper has released only one single, titled “Cash,” amidst his ongoing legal battles.
