Popular rapper Sukihana has found herself in legal trouble after being arrested in Florida on drug charges.
According to records from the Broward County arrest lookup website, the 32-year-old artist was apprehended by North Lauderdale police on charges of possession with intent to sell MDMA and codeine.
The bond for the MDMA charge has been set at $2,500, while the bond for the codeine charge stands at $5,000.
Sukihana is being held at the Paul Rein Detention Facility in Pompano Beach. The lookup indicates that the charges against her are pending trial. It remains unclear whether she has been released on bond since her arrest.
Details surrounding the circumstances of her arrest on Thursday, April 25, have not been immediately disclosed to the public. As of now, Sukihana has not issued any statements or comments regarding the arrest.
This incident comes just a couple of months after the rapper’s appearance on a divisive podcast hosted by TikTok star Bobbi Althoff.
In a viral clip from the interview, Althoff referred to Sukihana as “a musician,” which led to some confusion as Sukihana seemingly misheard it as “magician.” Following the circulation of the clip on social media, Sukihana took to Twitter to clarify, stating, “Suki ain’t no musician she is a mogul.”
