Billionaire tycoon Mukesh Ambani is pulling out all the stops for the pre-wedding festivities of his youngest son, Anant Ambani, in what promises to be a lavish affair fit for royalty.
Known for his extravagant parties and opulent lifestyle, Ambani is sparing no expense to ensure a memorable celebration for his son’s impending nuptials to Radhika Merchant.
The three-day pre-wedding extravaganza, set against the backdrop of Reliance’s main oil refinery in Jamnagar, Gujarat, will host a staggering 1,200 guests. Ambani, with a net worth of $114 billion according to Forbes, is renowned for his grandiose gatherings, and this occasion is no exception.
The festivities commenced with a communal dinner for local villagers, serving an astonishing 51,000 meals, setting the stage for what promises to be an unforgettable event.
Renowned celebrities and dignitaries from around the world are expected to attend, including pop sensation Rihanna and magician David Blaine, alongside a plethora of high-profile guests from the business, entertainment, and sports worlds.
Among the esteemed invitees are luminaries such as Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, and Bob Iger, along with Indian business magnates Gautam Adani and Kumar Mangalam Birla. Cricketers and Bollywood stars, including Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, are also slated to grace the occasion.
Anant, a director at Reliance’s new energy business, and his bride-to-be, Radhika Merchant, a director at India’s Encore Healthcare, are set to tie the knot in July.
The pre-wedding celebrations will feature traditional ceremonies, performances by international artists, and a sumptuous feast showcasing 500 delectable dishes crafted by a team of 100 chefs.
