Sexyy Red found herself in a tense situation over the weekend during a trip to Mexico, where she alleged she was stopped at the border and subsequently followed by authorities.
Taking to her Instagram Stories in the early hours of Sunday morning (March 17), Sexyy Red shared her ordeal with her followers, expressing gratitude for fans who waited for her despite the challenges she faced with law enforcement.
In her Instagram Stories, Sexyy Red thanked her supporters for their patience, revealing that she had encountered difficulties at the border due to carrying what she described as an excess of money and jewelry.
“Damn, we got stopped at the border. Took us hella hours at the border, they still waited on me. It’s 3 o’clock. They just now leaving the club, period,” she stated.
The rapper continued, expressing appreciation for her fans’ loyalty and emphasizing her authenticity.

“They fuck with a real bitch, and I fuck with them for fucking with me,” she declared. She also shared her frustration at being held up, attributing it to her belongings, saying, “I had too much bands on me, they couldn’t handle that shit. Too much jewelry on me, they couldn’t handle that shit .. They weren’t fucking with your girl.”
Sexyy Red further asserted her unique experience, challenging others to match her encounter. “Y’all hoes can’t say y’all went to Mexico and had to get stopped at the border ’cause I had them fucking racks on y’all, ’cause I had jewelry on y’all,” she asserted.
Despite the challenges, Sexyy Red praised the vibrancy of Mexico’s streets, noting the bustling activity even in the early hours of the morning.
However, she expressed eagerness to leave the country after the hassle she experienced, claiming that authorities continued to monitor her movements using drones.
