Skai Jackson’s rumored boyfriend, Yerkky Yerkky, has caused a stir on social media after making controversial remarks about her late Jessie costar, Cameron Boyce, just after Skai announced her pregnancy.
In a recent Facebook Live session, Yerkky, a content creator, appeared to respond to comparisons between himself and Cameron.
He lashed out at the comparisons, saying, “Stop comparing me to a dead n—a,” followed by an expletive-laden rant: “What the f–k? Y’all keeping comparing to a n—a that’s dead.”
Skai and Cameron, who played siblings on Jessie from 2011 to 2015, shared a close bond, and his tragic death in 2019 from an epileptic seizure at just 20 years old still resonates with many of Skai’s fans.
In response to Yerkky’s remarks, fans quickly expressed their outrage online, with one user writing, “O hell nahh we don’t play about Cameron Boyce at all,” and another adding, “Don’t you ever disrespect Cameron Boyce!!!”
Skai has yet to comment on Yerkky’s remarks, but she previously defended him earlier this week after a controversial post appeared on his Facebook page.
The post read, “I’m salty I got this Disney Channel chick pregnant,” which many assumed to be directed at Skai. Skai quickly clarified the situation on Instagram, saying, “His page was hacked! He never said this. End of story.”
Her mother, Kiya Cole, also took to Instagram to further dispute the claim, writing, “HE NEVER SAID THIS!!!! Stop being messy!!!”
Amid the drama, Skai has been leaning on her mother for support during her pregnancy.
The pair was recently spotted enjoying a mother-daughter outing, with Skai proudly showcasing her baby bump.
In a previous interview with E! News, Skai expressed gratitude for her mom’s support, saying, “She’s always kept me humble. I feel like when you have that great support system, you cannot go wrong.”
