TikTok star Mr. Prada, whose real name is Terryon Thomas, is embroiled in a serious legal scandal, as he faces second-degree murder charges in connection with the death of therapist William Nicholas Abraham.
The 69-year-old therapist’s body was discovered wrapped in a blue tarp along a highway in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, on September 29.
The affidavit, obtained by NBC News, details the troubling events that led to the arrest of the 20-year-old social media personality.
Thomas, known for his comedic videos on TikTok, was arrested on October 1 in Dallas, a day after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Authorities charged him with multiple offenses, including obstruction of justice, unauthorized use of a vehicle, and resisting an officer. He remains in Texas awaiting extradition to Louisiana.
According to witnesses, Thomas was seen struggling to load a blue tarp—later revealed to contain Abraham’s body—into the therapist’s car on September 28. The following day, police found Abraham’s body with signs of blunt-force trauma.
Thomas was later spotted driving Abraham’s vehicle and subsequently fled from a police stop after crashing the car.
Upon searching Thomas’ apartment, East Baton Rouge authorities found disturbing evidence of a violent altercation, including a significant amount of blood and sharp objects, according to the affidavit.
Despite an apparent attempt to clean up the crime scene, forensic testing confirmed that the blood matched Abraham’s.
While investigators are still piecing together the motive, East Baton Rouge Sheriff Sid Gautreaux noted that there’s no evidence suggesting Thomas was a client of Abraham.
He assured that the ongoing investigation will take time to uncover more details, but hopes the arrest provides some closure to Abraham’s family and friends.
