Travis Barker might be known for rocking out on stage with Blink-182, but when it comes to his kids, it’s the little things that mean the most.
The legendary drummer melted hearts everywhere with his habit of leaving sweet video voicemail messages for his 18-year-old daughter, Alabama Barker. She recently shared a TikTok video compilation of these heartfelt moments, captioning it, “POV: your dad leaves FaceTime video mail every time you miss his call.”
In the emotional post from September 2, Alabama added, “My dad is my hero, I couldn’t ask for a better man to be my father.” Accompanied by the touching audio track “Gods creation” by daniel.mp3, she confessed, “I cried making this, he is my everything.”
The video features clips of Travis—who is also dad to son Rocky Thirteen, 10 months, with wife Kourtney Kardashian, as well as son Landon Barker, 20, and stepdaughter Atiana de la Hoya, 25, from his previous marriage to Shanna Moakler—leaving messages before a concert and on a plane, telling Alabama how much she means to him. Each message ends with a loving “I love you” and a kiss to the camera.
To top it off, Travis commented on Alabama’s TikTok, saying, “I love you to the moon and back.” Fans couldn’t get enough of the sweet gesture, with one user commenting, “This is the sweetest purest thing ever Alabama,” and another adding, “I wanna cry this is so sweet.”
This isn’t the first time Travis has shown his love for his daughter publicly. Last December, he celebrated Alabama’s 18th birthday with a heartfelt Instagram post, writing, “Happy Birthday my beautiful daughter. I can’t believe my baby is 18 and all grown up. Being your Dad is the biggest joy in the world. May you be surrounded by love and all your favorite things today and forever! I’m so proud of you and I love you so much.”
