Travis Kelce has had enough of the rumors swirling around him and Taylor Swift. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is setting the record straight after a supposed document titled “Comprehensive Media Plan For Travis Kelce’s Relations Following Breakup with Taylor Swift” began circulating online.
The document, allegedly from Full Scope, the PR firm representing Kelce, outlined a media strategy for the 34-year-old in the event of a breakup with Taylor, whom he’s been dating since last summer. But according to Full Scope, the whole thing is a complete hoax.
“These documents are entirely false and fabricated and were not created, issued, or authorized by this agency,” a spokesperson for Full Scope told E! News on Sept. 4. They also confirmed that legal action is being taken against those behind the “unlawful and injurious forgery of documents.”
For fans fearing that Kelce and Swift might be headed for a split, there’s no need to worry! The fake breakup plan surfaced at a time when Kelce has been vocal about his love for the Karma singer. During a recent team event, when Chiefs announcer Mitch Holthus jokingly asked Travis if he would “love me more than Taylor,” Kelce playfully responded, “Maybe not.”
In another sweet gesture, Kelce even bought a racehorse named after his girlfriend, saying the purchase “made sense” given the special connection.
Meanwhile, Taylor seems equally smitten. According to Kelce, the pop superstar has been getting involved in his game prep ahead of the NFL season. “She has just been so open to learning the game,” Kelce said during a Sept. 3 appearance on The Rich Eisen Show. He explained that Taylor’s attention to detail as a songwriter carries over into sports. “She’s so detailed and a part of it that I think she is just curious about the profession.”
And it looks like Taylor is giving Travis some extra love on the field, too. “She’s a little biased and creates plays just for me,” he joked.
So, while the rumor mill keeps spinning, it’s clear that Travis and Taylor are still going strong—and having fun with it along the way!
