Travis Scott and baseball legend Reggie Jackson joined forces for a charitable cause, hosting a celebrity golf tournament attended by prominent figures such as former Alabama head coach Nick Saban.
The event, held on Monday at the Floridian National Golf Club in Palm City, Florida, was part of Jackson’s annual Mr. October Foundation Celebrity Golf Classic, aimed at supporting educational opportunities for underserved youth in STEM fields.
This marked the first year that Scott’s Cactus Jack Foundation partnered with Jackson’s Mr. October Foundation for the golf event.
The proceeds from the tournament contribute to enhancing STEM education for disadvantaged children.
Jackson highlighted the impact of their STEM curriculum, which has reached over one million students. He commended Travis Scott for his longstanding commitment to ensuring equitable access to quality learning environments for children regardless of their background.
The star-studded event saw the attendance of numerous celebrities, including Derek Jeter, Emmitt Smith, Rob Gronkowski, 50 Cent, Adrian Peterson, Jerry Rice, Terrell Owens, Joe Namath, Alex Rodriguez, Albert Pujols, Justin Verlander, Barry Bonds, Allen Iverson, Lil Wayne, Mark Wahlberg, Anthony Mackie, Dave Chappelle, DJ Khaled, Morgan Wallen, and Nick Saban, among others.
Travis Scott’s philanthropic efforts have been noticeable throughout the month, as demonstrated during his Circus Maximus tour stop in Miami. During the concert, Scott generously gifted $5,000 to a custodian, urging him to take the day off and join the festivities.
